Into the Cabin

Private house, kayaking, karaoke, swimming, fishing, and delivery of food straight to the cabin – what else can you ask for a staycation with your friends? It is the place where you can really bond with your friends or even family and catch up with one another. Experiencing the cabin life away from the busy streets of Manila is just the perfect staycation.

The Cabin Resorts says that it is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life and enjoy the scenery, and manmade lakes. It is located at Baliuag, Bulacan.

The place is located inside a compound which was good since there is security however was surprised that it is literally a cabin home situated inside it. Surprising because I was expecting a resort type place since they named the place “The Cabin Resorts.” However, the place and environment was good.

The Cabin is good for 6 people with overnight rates for the weekday/non-holiday of PHP6,500.00 and on weekend/holiday of PHP7,500.00. Check-in time is at 2:00 in the afternoon, and check-out time is at 12noon. The place is ideally for 6 persons only, however, I think a group of 8 could fit the cabin. I think each additional person costs PHP1,000/ea.

For this staycation, we got a promo of only PHP4999.00 for 6 people and having 1 free bucket of beer or food equivalent to it.

The place itself is a one-floor private cabin with a loft consisting of a living room, dining room, bathroom with shower, a loft for the bedroom, and a veranda. I wasn’t able to take a picture of the living room which is just adjacent to the dining room and the bathroom which is opposite the staircase.

The dining room which is ideally for 6 persons only. This is also where the KTV/Karaoke with the sound system is situated.

The television is placed between the living room on the left and dining room on the right.

They have hundreds of songs to choose from their songbook in the cabin.

When it comes to their food, I can say that it is delicious and excellent. The food price is just right since serving is good both for individual and group meals. Based from all the dishes we ordered, we were happy with all of it.

We actually texted the staff beforehand of our order and told him the time we want the food to be delivered in the Cabin. So I think that’s one thing you can do too if you’ll try to have a staycation at the Cabin.

The staircase leading to the loft area for the bedroom and this is opposite of the bathroom.

The bedroom consists of 1 bed and 2 mattresses on the floor. This area has a carpet as a floor and the arrangement of the bedroom makes it feel like you are really in cabin. The set-up is also nice since it is a way that you can talk or have some chats with each other before sleeping. I suggest that once you come in the cabin, turn on the air-condition of the loft since it takes a while before it cools there unlike in the lower floor.

The veranda also has a dining area, a rocking chair, and the storage of the dinnerware. We had our breakfast here since the weather was not that hot during the morning. Also, having breakfast here just makes the whole staycation complete and truly feel having a break from the busy streets of Manila.

From the veranda, the manmade lake could be seen. The manmade lake is also the place where visitors can do some kayaking.

The pool fees wasn’t included in the overnight rates. We paid PHP250.00 each as for the pool fee. After swimming, you can use the shower rooms beside the pool.

They also have additional amenities that could be availed such as:
Private pool – PHP5,000.00
Fishing – PHP 120.00 per kilo (guest will bring their own rod)
Kayaking – free of charge
High powered bluetooth speakers – free of charge
Latest karaoke system – free of charge

Overall, our stay at The Cabin Resorts is very good and we enjoyed our short staycation here. This is recommended to those who just wants to have some bonding time with friends or family.
